Then your client checks it
Each item your AI finishes moves to To check with its note in the thread. Your client sees it the next time they open the link (clients with an account also get an email), then approves it or reopens it with a reply.
Things to ask
Quickest: click Fix with AI under the feedback list on any review screen, choose Copy the task and paste it into the chat you already use, no new chat needed. In Claude Code you can also type /mcp__roundable__fix. Or talk to it like a teammate: swap “Acme” for your project's name, and click one to copy it.
What your AI can do
Roundable gives your AI five tools. It picks the right one from what you ask.
list_projectsReadsYour projects, with how much feedback is open, in progress and waiting for the client on each, plus their pages.
get_feedbackReadsA brief of what to change and where: the element or marked area, the section of the page, the screen width, any images, the whole thread, and a Thread ID for each item. By default only what's still to do.
project Name or id, from list_projectsstatus todo (default), open, progress, check, resolved or allpage Optional: just one page, by name or idadd_pagesWritesAdds pages of the website to a project, for when a QC pass reaches a page that isn't in the list yet. A project stays for one website: pages must be on the same site (or a subdomain) as the project's first page, so another site is refused. It only adds: it can't change or remove pages.
project Name or id, from list_projectspages Up to 25: url (full address, or a path like /pricing), optional nameorganize_pagesWritesArranges the page list into named groups, the headers on the left of the review screen. Creates groups that don't exist yet, puts pages in them in the order you give, takes pages out, renames groups, removes groups (the pages stay) and sets the order of the groups. list_projects shows the current groups.
project Name or id, from list_projectsgroups name, pages (each a page name, id or path)ungroup Optional: pages to take out of their grouprename_groups Optional: from, todelete_groups Optional: group names to remove (pages are kept)group_order Optional: group names in the order you wantcreate_feedbackWritesLets your AI do a QC pass: it checks the site at desktop, tablet and mobile widths and leaves new feedback pinned to the elements it finds (spacing, hierarchy, polish). Notes are team only and signed with the connection's name, so you can filter them under Written by → AI, delete the ones you don't want, and only then ask it to fix the rest. It never changes the site itself.
project Name or id, from list_projectspage Which page, by name, path or iditems Up to 25 per call: message, selector, viewport (desktop, tablet, mobile), optional visible_to_clientupdate_feedbackWritesMoves an item to a new status and/or adds a note to its thread, signed with the connection's name. Setting To check lets your client know, by email if they have an account.
thread_id The Thread ID from get_feedbackstatus Optional: open, progress, check or resolvednote Optional: what changed, or why notGood to know
Signing in beats a key
Connecting by signing in means no key is ever copied around. If you do use a key, treat it like a password: it opens every project in your workspace.
Remove it any time
Settings → AI connection lists every connection with when it was last used. Remove one and that tool stops straight away.
Everyone sees what the AI did
Its notes are signed with the connection's name, like “Claude” or “Claude Code”, so your team and your client can tell.
Your code stays with you
The AI reads feedback from Roundable and edits files on your machine. Only its notes and status changes come back.
Troubleshooting
“Missing or unknown Roundable token”
The connection was removed in Settings, or a pasted key got cut short. Connected by signing in? Reconnect: in Claude, open the Roundable connector and click Connect; in Claude Code, /mcp → Authenticate. Using a key? Create a new one and put it in place of the old.
The Roundable page says to ask the workspace owner
Only a workspace owner or admin can click Allow. Ask one of them to connect, or to make you an admin.
Claude Code doesn't see Roundable
The command connects Roundable to the folder you ran it in. Run claude mcp list in your project folder to check, and /mcp to sign in if it says it needs authentication. To have it everywhere, add it again with --scope user at the end, or add it once in Claude's Connectors.
“More than one project matches”
Two projects share that name, so Roundable asks instead of guessing. Your AI usually picks the right id from the list it gets; you can also say which one, like “the Acme project with id 42”.
“This workspace is paused”
The workspace's plan has ended. Choose a plan in the studio under Plans and the connection works again, with the same key.
I don't see the connect buttons in Settings
Only a workspace owner or admin can connect tools. Ask one of them to connect the tool, or to make you an admin. On the Solo plan, Settings shows the AI connection as part of Studio and Agency instead.
“The AI connection is part of Roundable's Studio and Agency plans”
The workspace is on Solo. Upgrade to Studio or Agency under Plans and the same key starts working. Workspaces that connected a tool before the current plans keep their connection.
“Too many calls”
Each key can make 120 calls a minute, far more than working through a round of feedback needs. Wait a minute and ask your AI to carry on.
Does it work with ChatGPT or other chat apps?
Any tool that can add a remote MCP server works: by its address and a sign-in, or with a key in a custom header. If yours can't, use Copy for AI on the review screen: it copies the same brief, ready to paste into any chat.
Now let your AI fix the round.
Press Fix with AI on any review screen, copy the task and paste it into the chat you already use. Your AI fixes the notes and moves them to To check.
